Today marks the eighteenth anniversary of the September 11th attacks that truly changed things in our country. Precise Auto Service wants to take this time to remember those who lost their lives on that tragic day in September of 2001.
I woke up to find a nail in my tire on Monday morning. I filled the tire with air and went to a local gas station to get the tire repaired. (Not Precise) I was told to leave the vehicle, as it would be a while before someone could get to it. I went to gas station number 2. I was told it would take at least 1 1/2 hours to fix the leak. (a ten minute job). I went to gas station number 3 and they were too busy to help at all. As I left the last station to go to Precise, I saw that my tire was losing air fast. I couldn't even make it! I had to pull over. I walked to Precision and asked if they had portable air, and I explained the flat issue. Someone filled up the portable container. He walked with me to the car and filled the tire. I took the car to Precise and they plugged the tire in 10 minutes. This is usually a $20+ dollar job. They didn't even charge me! According to CBS News, Ford recently announced a recall that affects over 1.3 million vehicles that are primarily located in North America. The recall was issued mainly due to problems with rear suspension and transmission control software.
This is my second trip to this location. The staff is very friendly and professional. My first trip they were running behind by a little bit of time which does happen to even the best of places, but my second time I arrived early and they were offering to start right away. It's an older building, but everything is very neat, well kept and organized. There is a nice waiting room with a TV, bathroom, and candy if you have a sweet tooth.
